Spotlight on Senator Roger Hauck

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Senator Roger Hauck (R-Mount Pleasant) is serving his second term in the Michigan Senate. He serves as Minority Vice Chair of the Regulatory Affairs Committee, serving as the ranking Republican member. In addition, he serves on the Energy and Environment and Healthy Policy Committees, as well as the following Appropriations Subcommittees: Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy; General Government; and Health and Human Services.

Prior to his election, he served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives and was a Union Township Trustee. Before public service, Senator Hauck worked for the Delfield Company and co-owns a small building company.

He represents the 34th Senate District, which includes Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Osceola, Mecosta, and Isabella Counties, and portions of Bay, Clinton, Lake, Midland, and Saginaw Counties.
