Spotlight on Representative Pauline Wendzel

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Representative Pauline Wendzel (R-Watervliet) is the Minority Vice Chair of the House Energy, Communications, and Technology Committee, serving as the lead Republican for the influential committee overseeing energy policy. Additionally, she sits on the Regulatory Reform Committee, Judiciary Committee, and Education Committee.

Representative Wendzel is serving her third term in the Michigan House of Representatives. Prior to being elected to the House, she served as the deputy clerk of Bainbridge Township, worked on her family farm, and as director at a local museum. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and food industry marketing from Michigan State University.

She represents the 39th House District, which includes portions of Berrien and Van Buren Counties.
