Legislation was introduced that would give the authority to permit certain wind or solar energy projects to the Michigan Public Service Commission.

Legislation that would place certain aspects of the Federal Affordable Care Act into Michigan law passed.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed legislation that supporters believe will help get more teachers in classrooms statewide.

Those convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence would be banned from possessing, using, purchasing, or carrying a firearm in Michigan under legislation passed by the Senate.

In our weekly “Five Things We’re Reading” feature we shared articles on haunted national parks stories, the new Federal Reserve social media accounts, and more.
