Christina Anderson was named chief of staff for the Michigan Department of State by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.
- Anderson will begin her new role on October 2.
- She is currently deputy commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health. Prior to that, she served as director of the Office of Reform Management for the Chicago Police Department.
- Throughout her career, Ms. Anderson has served three different big city mayors.
- Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
