This Thursday, Governor Whitmer announced $1.49 million in Match on Main grants to more than 60 Michigan small businesses, expected to create 444 new jobs and revitalize over 107,000 square feet of vacant or underused space. With record participation, 50 recipients are in Geographically Disadvantaged Areas, spanning restaurants, retail, and service businesses that drive local economic growth and revitalization.

Match on Main is a Michigan program that provides grants up to $25,000 to support new and expanding small businesses in downtown and commercial areas, aiming to boost local economic growth, create jobs, and revive communities.
