Governor Gretchen Whitmer spent the week in France and Germany working to bring jobs, investment, and high-tech supply chains back to Michigan.

Key Points:

    • While in France, the governor met with business leaders discussing investment opportunities in Michigan for aerospace, defense, future mobility, and manufacturing.
    • In Germany, Governor Whitmer met with dignitaries to discuss deepening ties between Michigan and regional economies and governments.
    • Lastly, she met with Michigan National Guard servicemembers stationed at Ramstein Air Base.

The mission follows the announcement of the Make it in Michigan agenda, designed to attract jobs and talent to Michigan from other states and bring supply chains home from overseas.
