District Overview

The 76th House District is located in Eaton County, including the cities of Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, Olivet, and Potterville.

Commentary

Representative Angela Witwer is running for reelection in this Democratic-leaning district. She currently serves as chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, which is responsible for developing priorities and negotiating the final annual state budget. This November, she’ll face political newcomer, Andy Shaver, a pastor and entrepreneur.
