Collections from Michigan’s major taxes, penalties and interest, and lottery transfers totaled $3,019.3 million last month. The total was $39.5 million more than August 2025, and fiscal year-to-date collections are 3.1% higher than the prior year. General Fund/General Purpose revenue was $1,319.1 million, which is just over $40 million more than prior estimates. Likewise, School Aid Fund revenue came in higher than projections, totaling $1,567.1 million.
