District Overview:
The district includes most of Eaton County, including Charlotte, Olivet, Potterville, and Eaton Rapids; parts of Lansing and Grand Ledge; and the townships of Brookfield, Benton, Carmel, Chester, Delta Charter, Eaton Rapids, Hamlin, Oneida Charter, Vermontville, Walton, and Windsor Charter.
Commentary:
Democratic Representative Angela Witwer is serving her fourth term and is running for reelection this November. While the district leans slightly Democratic, Representative Witwer has proven to be a top-tier candidate, easily winning in the previous two election cycles. She will be facing a political newcomer and is well positioned to return to the state legislature.
