Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced she will deliver her sixth State of the State Address on Wednesday, January 24 at 7 p.m. She will deliver her remarks in the Michigan House Chambers in front of a joint session of the Michigan Senate and Michigan House of Representatives.

During her 2024 State of the State address, Governor Whitmer will lay out her plans and priorities for the year ahead. According to a press release, her proposals will lower costs, continue investments in education from preschool to college, expand access to safe and affordable homes for Michigan families, keep protecting our seniors, boost our state’s economy to new heights, and more.

The address will be streamed live on the governor’s Facebook and YouTube pages, local TV stations throughout Michigan, and online at Michigan.gov/StateoftheState.
