Spotlight on Representative Jerry Neyer

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Representative Jerry Neyer (R-Shepherd) is serving his first term in the House and serves as the ranking Republican member on the Agriculture Committee. Additionally, he sits on the Insurance and Financial Services Committee and the Regulatory Reform Committee.

Before his election to the House, Representative Neyer spent 30 years working at his family’s dairy farm, operating it with his father and brother. He served on the Isabella County Farm Bureau, the Michigan Dairy Marketing Committee, and the Isabella County Planning Commission.

He represents the 92nd House District, which includes portions of Gratiot and Isabella Counties.
