Spotlight on Representative Mike Mueller

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

MuellerRepresentative Mike Mueller (R-Linden) is serving his third term in the Michigan House of Representatives. He’s currently serving as Minority Vice Chair of the House Regulatory Reform Committee, the ranking Republican member on the committee. Additionally, he serves on the Criminal Justice Committee, Health Policy Committee, and Labor Committee.

Prior to his election to the House, Representative Mueller worked for the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, retiring in 2018. Additionally, he’s a Navy Veteran. Along with his wife, he operates Mueller’s Orchard and Cider Mill, which has been in his family since 1941. Representative Mueller received his degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University and attended the Washtenaw County Community College Police Academy.

He represents the 72nd House District, which includes portions of Genesee, Livingston, and Oakland Counties.
