Tuesday’s general election had the highest turnout in state history, marking the third consecutive election cycle of record turnouts.

Key Points:

    • 67 million votes were cast, which is 79% of the electorate.
    • 2 million voters participated through mail-in voting.
    • 2 million voted via in-person early voting.
    • Nearly 22,000 residents registered and voted on election day.
    • There are approximately 6,000 outstanding military and overseas ballots. If they were postmarked yesterday and are received by November 12 they will be counted.
