District Overview

The 59th House District is located in Macomb County, including Shelby Township.

Commentary

Representative Doug Wozniak is running for reelection in the House, facing Jean Zott in the primary race. This district is viewed as a safe seat for the Republican party; thus, the primary winner is likely to win in the general election.
