The 28th House District is located in Monroe and Wayne Counties. The district includes Flat Rock, Rockwood, Newport, and Woodhaven, and portions of Taylor.
Commentary
The district is a toss-up that both parties will work to win with the Democratic party targeting this seat to flip it from R to D. Representative Thompson is running for her second term in the House, facing one opponent in her primary race in August. This seat will be a key one to watch this fall as both parties work to win the seat.
