District Overview
The 14th House District is located in Oakland and Macomb Counties. This is one of the districts impacted by the Michigan Supreme Court order to redraw a handful of House districts earlier this year after finding 2021 maps were racially gerrymandered.
Commentary
This district is considered a safe Democratic seat and Representative McFall is running for a second term in office. His primary opponent is a former Mayor of Warren, which will provide him some name recognition in that portion of the district. Whoever wins that primary is all but assured to win in November.
