Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II announced that Tracy Winston will join the Executive Office of the Lieutenant Governor as chief of staff beginning August 7th.

Key Points:

  • Tracy is the former director of government affairs for the Waste Management Great Lakes area team. Starting in 2016, she served as a policy advisor to the House of Representatives.
  • A member of the state bars of Texas and Michigan, she served as a policy advisor to law firms, committees, and legislative caucuses in both states.
  • She looks forward to working with Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist due to his work on criminal justice reform, closing health equity gaps, and expanding economic opportunities in Michigan communities.
  • Before Winston, Jessica Brousseau served as the chief of staff for Gilchrist. As of June, Brousseau is now the chief of staff for the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.
