Looking Ahead to the Week of March 2 – 8, 2024

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

The Michigan Republican Party is holding its state party convention on Saturday, March 2 to determine how 39 delegates for the presidential primary will be allocated at the national party convention this summer.

On Monday, March 4, the Michigan Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing in Detroit to get input on its work to implement changes made to the state’s energy laws in 2023. Please click here for more information.

The House and Senate are scheduled to hold their typical Tuesday – Thursday session schedule.
