Looking Ahead to the Week of February 3 – 9, 2024

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

The House and Senate are scheduled to hold session on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Executive Budget Recommendations will be presented to a joint meeting of the Senate and House Appropriations Committees on Wednesday, February 7.

The Michigan Public Service Commission will hold a regular commission meeting on Thursday, February 8. For more information, please click here.

All legislation passed during 2023 that didn’t receive immediate effect will take effect on February 12, 90 days after the legislature adjourned Sine Die.
