Next Wednesday, August 30, Governor Gretchen Whitmer will outline her policy priorities for the fall. The legislature will return to their typical Tuesday – Thursday session schedule in September and these are likely to be many of the items they will focus on.

“What Next Address”:

    • Address what items she would like to work with the House and Senate to address.
    • According to the governor, the proposals will lower costs, make Michigan more competitive, expand opportunity, and protect people’s fundamental rights.

How to Watch:

    • The governor’s office pointed people to her Facebook and YouTube pages to watch the address at 11 a.m.
