Following Tuesday’s election, Governor-elect Jocelyn Benson began the task of setting up her administration. To communicate and share information with Michigan residents, her team set up a website.
The site lists the priorities that will guide their administration:
-
- Lower costs
- Higher wages
- A government that works for the people
The transition is also looking for people who are interested in an appointment within the executive office or a state department, or who are interested in serving on a board or commission. The transition site allows people to apply for appointments in the Benson administration.
Lastly, in the coming weeks, the website will share information on the inauguration, which will take place on January 1, 2027, at the State Capitol in Lansing.
