District Overview:
The district includes Fraser, Harrison Township, and portions of Chesterfield and Clinton Townships, Roseville, and St. Clair Shores.
Commentary:
Incumbent Republican Representative Alicia St. Germaine is running for her third term in the Michigan House of Representatives. On paper, this seat is a very competitive 50-50 district. However, Representative St. Germaine increased her margin of victory from 53% to 56% in the last election cycle. She will once again have a strong incumbent advantage, but the even political split and national trends will keep this seat one to watch heading into November.
