As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) Director Anita Fox announced Laura Hall’s return to the department as Senior Chief Deputy Director.

Key Points:

    • She rejoins DIFS after serving as the Director of Policy, Communications, and Engagement at the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP).
    • Before joining MiLEAP in 2024, she was the Communications Director at DIFS and served as the department’s Public Information Officer.
    • As Senior Chief Deputy Director, Laura is responsiblefor overseeing the ongoing operations of all areas of DIFS and its regulation of the insurance and financial industries.

In addition, the Department provides consumer protection, outreach, and financial literacy and education services to Michigan residents.
