In just over one month, Detroit residents will vote in the primary race for the next Mayor of Michigan’s biggest city. As the resurgence in the city continues to grow each year, all eyes will be on this race. The primary will be held on August 5, with early voting beginning July 26.
Current Mayor Mike Duggan is not running for reelection, choosing instead to run for governor in 2026.
