The 27th House District is located in Wayne County, including Gibraltar, Riverview, Trenton, Wyandotte, and portions of Southgate.
Commentary
This district is considered a toss-up and both parties have a shot at winning this seat. Furthermore, the Republican party is targeting this district as a seat to flip. Representative Churches is running for a second term in office, facing Republican Rylee Linting, a political newcomer who hasn’t run for public office before.
