Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (an MLC client) Chairperson Jamie Stuck has joined a long list of renowned leaders in being welcomed by Harvard University as a visiting dignitary. He was invited to sign the guest book, which contains a number of signatures from leaders across the world. Chairperson Stuck was joined by Vice-Chairperson Dorie Rios, and Waséyabek Development Company President and CEO Deidra Mitchell.

“On behalf of the entire MLC team, congratulations to Chairperson Stuck on this prestigious honor. I’ve had the privilege of working with him for years and have witnessed the work he does for his Tribe. This recognition is well deserved for a person who tirelessly advocates for not only his Tribe but also on behalf of all Indigenous people for the betterment of their communities,” said MLC partner Brendan Ringlever.

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi has been a federally recognized Tribal government since 1995 and currently has more than 1,500 enrolled Tribal members. The Tribe’s main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, MI, and in Grand Rapids, MI. NHBP’s economic development entities include FireKeepers Casino Hotel and Waséyabek Development Company, LLC.
