Michigan Named a Top Business State

CNBC named Michigan on their list of America’s Top States for Business in 2023. To develop the list, CNBC measures states on more than 86 different metrics and ten categories of competitiveness.

Michigan’s rankings include:

• • 6^th for cost of doing business, up from 9^th last year.
  • 7^th for cost of living, up from 12^th last year.
  • 12^th for technology and innovation, up from 15^th last year.
  • 15^th for business friendliness, up from 20^th last year.
