Representative Bryan Poshtumus (R-Rockford) serves as the Minority Floor Leader, having been elected by his peers to serve in this leadership role. He also serves as the minority vice chair of the Government Operations Committee, serving as the ranking Republican, and sits on the House Fiscal Governing Committee.
Representative Posthumus is serving his second term in the Michigan House of Representatives. Prior to his election, he built the largest farmer-owned hop grower in Michigan. Representative Posthumus earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Business Management from Michigan State University.
He represents the 90th House District in West Michigan, including most of Northeast Kent County.
