District Overview
The 10th House District is located in Wayne County. This is one of the districts the Michigan Supreme Court ordered to be redrawn earlier this year after finding the 2021 map was racially gerrymandered.
Commentary
Representative Veronica Paiz is serving her first term in the House and running for reelection in a newly drawn district. The seat is considered a safe Democratic seat due to its base, and the primary winner is expected to win in November.
