Meet the New Member: Representative Steve Frisbie

Representative Steve Frisbie (R-Battle Creek) is serving his first term in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Biography

Before being elected, he spent 40 years as a paramedic and in ambulance service administration. Additionally, he served as a volunteer firefighter. Representative Frisbie was an adjunct professor at Kellogg Community College for 23 years. He was an elected Calhoun County Commissioner from 2019-2023.

Representative Frisbie earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Miller College and his paramedic certificate from Davenport University.

District

Representative Frisbie represents the 44th House District, which includes Battle Creek, Springfield, Bedford Township, Pennfield Township, Convis Township, Lee Township, Clarence Township, Sheridan Township, and Albion.
