Governor Announces Staff Changes

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced promotions and hires within the executive office. The changes are detailed below.

Policy:

    • Marc Rehmann, Advisor – He will lead efforts on key issues, including economic development and the state budget.
    • Zoe Ahlstrom, Interim Policy Director
    • Martha Campbell, Senior Climate Policy Advisor

Appointments:

    • Alissa Cravens, Director of Appointments

Community Engagement:

    • Emily Mellits, Deputy Director of the Office of Community Engagement
    • Timothy Brooks, Community Engagement Assistant
    • Anna Cool, Engagement Specialist
    • Victoria Houston, Engagement Specialist

    • Adam Schira, Deputy Director of Constituent Services

Federal Affairs:

    • Preston Weland, Deputy Director of Federal Affairs

Communications:
