District Overview

The 96th House district is located in Bay County, including the cities of Bay City and Essexville.

Commentary

Representative Timmy Beson is running for a third term in office. Due to its base, this district is viewed as Republican-leaning. This November, he will face political newcomer Rudy Howard.

Democratic Candidate:

    • Rudy Howard – Teacher, previously worked in the automotive industry.
