As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Christina Anderson was named chief of staff for the Michigan Department of State by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

Key Points:

    • Anderson will begin her new role on October 2.
    • She is currently deputy commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health. Prior to that, she served as director of the Office of Reform Management for the Chicago Police Department.
    • Throughout her career, Ms. Anderson has served three different big city mayors.
    • Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
