This month, the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) will hold its regular commission meeting in the Upper Peninsula. The move is part of its effort to broaden public outreach and expand public involvement in regulatory matters that impact all residents.

Meeting Details:

    • The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m.
    • It will take place at Bay College’s Besse Center Auditorium Building in Escanaba.
    • It’s open to the public in person or by video or phone livestream.
    • Additionally, MPSC Staff will be present to provide information about energy assistance, help with utility disputes, and other valuable consumer information.
    • An agenda will be posted closer to the day of the meeting.
    • As with every regular commission meeting, there will be a public comment period after the Commission has concluded its votes on orders presented at the meeting.
