Collective Bargaining Changes Move

The House passed legislation making changes to the collective bargaining process for public school teachers.

Key Points:

    • Repeals the collective bargaining gap provisions within current law.
    • Changes the topics that are and are not allowed during collective bargaining.
    • Allows public school employers to collect union dues.

Next Steps:

    • The bills were referred to the Senate Labor Committee for consideration.
