Spotlight On Representative Laurie Pohutsky

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Representative Laurie Pohutsky (D-Livonia) is serving her fourth term in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Biography

She began her professional career working in food safety, toxicology, and health care. Representative Pohutsky graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in microbiology.

District

The 17th House District includes portions of Northwest Detroit, North Redford Charter Township, and Northeast Livonia.
