The Michigan Republican Party held its endorsement convention for the candidates running in the midterm election this November. The races for Secretary of State and Attorney General are open, as both current officeholders are term limited.
The party endorsed Anthony Forlini for Secretary of State.

- He currently serves as Macomb County Clerk. Prior to that, he served in the Michigan House of Representatives and was the Harrison Township Supervisor.
For Attorney General, the party endorsed Doug Lloyd.

- He currently works as the Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney. Mr. Lloyd has worked as a prosecutor for 30 years.
The party endorsed two candidates for the Michigan Supreme Court: Judge Casandra Morse-Bills and Judge Michael Warren.

- Judge Morse-Bills currently serves as Presiding Judge in the 23rd Judicial Circuit. Additionally, she is a member of the Michigan Judicial Council. Prior to taking the bench, she was in private practice.
- Judge Warren has served on the Oakland County Circuit Court since 2002. Additionally, he is a business law professor at Wayne State University. He’s a former member of the Michigan State Board of Education.
For the State Board of Education, the party endorsed Terence Collins and Bree Moeggenberg. Additionally, the party endorsed candidates for university boards.
