Michigan DOGE Task Force Announced

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Michigan is launching its own version of the national DOGE effort, with the stated goal of improving accountability and efficiency within state government.

According to a press release, the task force aims to:

    • Make government more transparent and responsive to residents.
    • Restore trust in public institutions by identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and promoting responsible, taxpayer-first governance.
    • Ensure government operates efficiently, transparently, and in the best interest of the people it serves.
