Representative Joseph Pavlov (R-Smiths Creek) is serving his first term in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Biography

Prior to his election, he spent 38 years as a high school educator, teaching English, speech, and drama. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication education from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Oakland University.

District

Representative Pavlov represents the 64th House District, which includes Worth Township in Sanilac County and the city of Port Huron, part of the city of St. Clair, the townships of Burtchville, Clyde, Fort Gratiot, Grant, Kimball, and Marysville, and part of St. Clair Township in St. Clair County.
