Spotlight on Senator Roger Victory

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Senator Roger Victory (R-Hudsonville) was first elected to the Michigan Senate in 2018 and currently serves as the Republican Caucus Whip. He is the Republican Vice Chair of the Economic and Community Development Committee and is a member of the Natural Resources and Agriculture Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

Prior to his election to the Senate, he served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives. In addition to his public service, Senator Victory owns a year-round specialty crop producer and a national produce distributor. He previously co-owned a trucking company. He graduated from Davenport University with a degree in business management and from Michigan State University’s Great Lakes Leadership Academy.

Senator Victory represents the 31st Senate District in Ottawa County.
