Spotlight on Representative Doug Wozniak

As MLC’s Communications and Social Media Manager, Liz Gullett keeps clients informed and up-to-date on the goings on in Lansing and the Capitol.

Representative Doug Wozniak (R-Shelby Twp.) is serving his third term in the Michigan House. He serves as the ranking Republican member on the Labor Committee and the Families, Children, and Seniors Committee. Additionally, he’s a member of the Ethics and Oversight Committee and the Judiciary Committee. He previously served in the Michigan Senate.

Prior to being elected, he was a practicing attorney and small business owner. He is also a licensed insurance agent, realtor, and broker. Representative Wozniak also served on the Shelby Township Board of Trustees. He’s a graduate of the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.

He represents the 59th House District in Macomb County, which includes portions of Macomb Township and Shelby Charter Township.
