This week, we were pleased to announce that Rudy Hobbs is joining the MLC team. “Rudy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm and will be a strong advocate for our clients. The entire MLC team is thrilled to have him as part of the MLC family,” said MLC partner, Brendan Ringlever.
Rudy has a long history of working in local, state, and federal government. From 2010 to 2014, Rudy served in the Michigan House of Representatives and was elected Democratic Floor Leader by his peers. In Southeast Michigan, he gained valuable local government experience during his time serving as Chief of Staff to the Wayne County Executive, overseeing 1,700 employees and a $1.6 billion annual operating budget. Additionally, Rudy served as district director to Congressman Sander Levin and as a policy advisor to former Lt. Governor John Cherry. Prior to joining MLC, Rudy founded and directed his own local government consulting firm.
