This week, the Michigan Supreme Court unanimously voted to reelect Justice Bridget McCormack as Chief Justice. This will be her second two-year term in the role. Chief Justice McCormack joined the Supreme Court in January 2013. Prior to that, she was a law professor and dean at the University of Michigan Law School. Previously, Chief Justice McCormack worked in New York with the Legal Aid Society and the Office of the Appellate Defender. She is a graduate of the New York University Law School.
