In an effort to increase awareness and interest in Michigan’s produce and food products, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will be traveling to China, in the fourth annual Trade Missions to China. China is already the fifth largest importer of Michigan agriculture and products, and Mission aims to continue and strengthen that relationship. On November 8-12, MDARD will travel to 3 different provinces; Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Shanghai, to meet with buyers and learn more about the Chinese markets.
In a similar mission, The Food Export Association of the Midwest will be traveling to South Korea right before this event on November 6-7, creating the opportunity for back-to-back increased networking and opportunities.
