The House and Senate Majority Floor Leaders have released the session schedules for the 2021 year. The Senate will continue to meet at 10 a.m. each session day, while the House will continue to meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 12:00 p.m. on Thursdays.
The House will meet for their first day on Wednesday, January 13. Beginning the following week, they will meet Tuesday – Thursday through June 24, with a two-week break March 29 – April 9 for their annual spring break. The House will break for summer in July and August, with the exception of July 21 and August 18. They will return for session on September 9 and 14, before beginning their Tuesday – Thursday schedule for the remainder of the year, with the exception of the annual two-week hunting break November 15 -26. The last scheduled session day for the year is December 16, 2021.
The Senate has released their session schedule for the first six months of the year. Similar to the House, they will hold their first session day on Wednesday, January 13. The following week, they begin their typical Tuesday – Thursday session schedule through June 30, with the exception of the annual two-week spring break March 29 – April 9.
