Mr. Roberts is returning to the private sector in February. “I’ve known John for 18 years and will greatly miss working with him. Throughout his tenure in the budget office he has shown time and again that he was the right man for the job. Whoever replaces him will have big shoes to fill as he served the Governor and the State of Michigan with distinction. The entire team at MLC wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” stated Tim Ward, President of MLC. The Governor has not yet announced his replacement.
